Europe@MyDesk

The project Europe@myDesk (2009-2010) aimed at bringing Europe closer to young people and young workers through an improved and active access to information on European issues. This aim was achieved through effective information debates in schools and the development of youth media on this topic.

The core part of the project was a series of twelve events called DeskEvents lasting 3 days, which were held in twelve different European countries. The aim of these events was to develop skills and exchange experiences on how to present the European Union and discuss on its current challenges in a fair, transparent and plural way. All events included a training in project management, an information event in a school and/or university, and a workshop on youth journalism.
