Dear JEFers,

JEF Europe is launching a call for delegates for its IV Online Congress which will take place online on 4th of June 2025, 19.30 CEST.  The Online Congress is an annual statutory event where JEF Europe’s financial year of the previous calendar year is adopted as is required by Belgian Law of Associations. The Online Congress will take place via Zoom and is open to sections and their delegates.

Delegates per section

The number of delegates with voting rights per section for the Online Congress will be calculated upon receiving all membership statements and the Credentials Committee calculating the number of delegates. This will be shared as soon as concluded.

 

Explanatory video

Before the Congress takes place, an explanatory video will be shared, prepared by the Treasurer and Secretary General to help understand the state of play of the financial year.

 

Registration of delegates

For your presence to be officially recognised for this Congress, please apply here by 5th of May 2025 23:59 CEST.

 

Voting Access

Voting will take place via online voting approximately between 20.00 – 20.30 CEST. You will receive an email with a link and can cast your vote anytime within this window. The access link will be shared shortly before the voting takes place.

You do not have to necessarily take part in the whole duration of the meeting and can choose to only cast your vote in the given timeframe.

 

Language

The Online Congress will be held in English.

 

Proxies

If no one from your section is able to attend, or if not all delegates from the number of delegates assigned to your section are able to attend, you are able to proxy your vote to someone else. The proxy form will be sent in the upcoming weeks.
