About the Project
The Federalist Peace Forum is an initiative born from the encounter between European federalists and Israeli and Palestinian activists. The project emerged from a collaboration initiated after the tragic events of October 7, 2023, culminating in a trilateral meeting in the federalist island of Ventotene in September 2025. The main goal is to create a space for training, dialogue, and exchange among young Israelis and Palestinians, aimed at jointly developing innovative and shared peace proposals capable of overcoming the current deadlock represented by the two-state solution alone. Through the lens of federalist thought -which opposes nationalism and promotes a positive and lasting peace—the initiative seeks to spark a path of hope in the heart of a devastating conflict, opening the door to new solutions, including a federal one.
Currently, our groups are organising local actions in the Levant region and in Europe where we have already presented our initiative in the German parliament and in the Italian Senate. We have also presented our project to various European stakeholders during an advocacy trip o Brussels. If you want to stay in the loop, sign up to our newsletter.
Our Goals:
Enable young people to promote peaceful societies by providing them with a safe forum for intercultural dialogue to build a peace network
Provide input and solutions for policymakers in the region and beyond, based on the discussions among young people directly affected by the conflict.
Empower youth leaders and multipliers, and equip them with skills to address polarization and radicalization in their communities.
Raise awareness of the importance of protecting human rights in conflict settings.
