We are pleased to provide an opportunity to fund our local actions on climate and democracy, in cooperation with the European Youth Foundation. 

We will be providing small funding for single events or actions on this important topic. 

What is the project?

ClimDM is a project combining Climate policy and Democracy, focusing on Climate advocacy, the voice of young people in climate policy and the intersection between climate policy and democracy more brightly. 

What is the goal of this Microgrant:

With these local actions the participants of the training, simulation and JEF Europe sections will implement 10 local actions, in which young people will apply their skills in their own communities. These local actions will bring young people from different backgrounds together in their local communities to strengthen the role of local democracy in climate action. The actions can include Europe@School activities, debates, non-formal educational activities, advocacy campaigns and local campaigns which will be developed preferably in collaboration with local JEF sections and volunteers. These local actions must take place in Council of Europe member countries and before the end of November 2026. 

What is the amount:

The action will sponsor 10 local actions, for a total amount of 410,00€ per local action.

You are allowed to deviate from this financial guideline if it makes sense for your action. Please then explain why you are deviating in the notes of the budget template.

  • Material 130,00€
