Summer Trainings Italy
Get ready for the European elections 2024!
A strong, unified and democratic front in the 2024 European elections is imperative to ensure a free and sustainable EU. In this context, the goal of the EurHope project is to increase citizens’ engagement and participation in the European Elections 2024 and ultimately increase the youth voter turnout.
JEF Europe together with Make.org launched this Europe-wide innovative participatory campaign, supported by the European Parliament. It will engage millions of citizens in their diversity, with a particular focus on youth. Jointly, participants of the consultation will identify and shape Europe’s priorities and solutions for 2024 and beyond. This process will reach up to 20 million young European citizens over the course of one year – from May 2023 to May 2024.
Through these training sessions you will have the opportunity to become a certified EurHope Ambassador with skills and knowledge on how to find new and innovative ways to debate the future of Europe.
The working language is English and the certificates will be issued digitally only to participants who attend all in-situ sessions from the 1st to the 3rd of September 2023 in Italy.

Location, schedule and other useful information
The location is particularly significant since Ventotene has become a political laboratory for reflection on European values of democracy and freedom. The outcome of this was the Ventotene Manifesto, which, by envisaging a federal government, laid the foundations for the modern idea of a united Europe. Nowadays, the city of Ventotene continues to develop initiatives that confirm this role so as to become a place of education in Europe and of reflection on how to develop the federalist perspective suggested in the Manifesto itself.
