IMPACT - Inclusive Methods for Political Activism and Campaigns through Training
Training on political event organising, November 9-11 2022, Prague, Czech Republic
Project coordinated by the Young European Federalists in the framework of the European Year of Youth granting of the European Parliament
Do you want to improve the accessibility of your activities and campaigns for people with different abilities?
Do you want to be part of a diverse and international group of young people becoming experts in the creation of accessible campaigns?
Do you want to join a training programme that sends you to Prague and lets you meet European decision makers to promote your opinion?
Then it is time to join our new project IMPACT – Inclusive Methods for Political Activism and Campaigns through Training and its training session in Prague in November!
What is the training about?
The training session is part of the project IMPACT by JEF Europe, that aims to provide youth from the European Union with skills to organise accessible, inclusive political events. During the learning course, the participants get to know how to organise a local political event on inclusive politics. The training session in Prague will bring together youth that have already been trained in a training session specialised on accessible politics and young Europeans who want to learn from their peers and develop a local acidity in the framework of the Be a Federalist Ally campaign. This will be supported by two additional 2h online sessions on digital political campaigning.
The project is happening in the aftermath of the Conference on the Future of Europe and during the European Year of Youth. The project consists of several phases to give you the opportunity to learn from experts and each other, and eventually become multipliers, implement their knowledge, broaden your network and engage with topics that matter to you in an inclusive way at the start of the political campaigns for the European Elections in 2024.
The project is coordinated by the Young European Federalists (JEF Europe) in partnership and with the support of ENIL (European Network of Independent Living), OBESSU (Organising Bureau of European School Student Unions) & ESN (Erasmus Student Network), ESU (European Student Union). The project is funded within the framework of the European Year of Youth – Creation and capacity building of pan-European networks of advocates for democratic participation EP-COMM-SUBV-2022-EYY granting scheme by the European Parliament and the training session happening in Mollina is part of the University on Youth and Development, organised by the North-South Centre of the Council of Europe.
