"Young Europeans Northern Ireland" Section
JEF Ireland and JEF UK are thrilled to announce the launch of their joint initiative, “Young Europeans Northern Ireland.” This exciting event is set to take place on Saturday, September 9th, 2023, at Queens University Belfast. The launch event will feature a distinguished panel of speakers from diverse communities, fostering an open and inclusive dialogue about the future of Northern Ireland.
The panel of speakers includes:

- Jay Singh Basra, Chair of Unionist Youth Network
- Luke Patterson, President of Alliance Youth
The event aims to bring together young people, policymakers, and community leaders to engage in meaningful discussions about the pressing issues facing Northern Ireland in the context of Europe. Topics on the agenda include cross-community collaboration, peace-building efforts, and the role of Northern Ireland within the broader European context.

“Through the creation of Young Europeans Northern Ireland, federalism brings Europeans together beyond borders and historical conflicts, contributing to peace and cooperation on the island “ added Christelle Savall, Vice President of JEF Europe.
The event will include presentations, panel discussions, and interactive sessions, offering attendees the opportunity to share their ideas and perspectives. It will be a unique occasion for young Europeans in Northern Ireland to connect with their peers and engage with influential figures in a constructive and open-minded environment.
