Co-operation Youth Vote

Online Training

Tuesday 26th September 2023 and Thursday 28th September 2023

JEF Europe will be offering a series of training opportunities for skills and capacity building for young people to engage in the upcoming European elections. Please find all the details below.

About Youth Vote

The project Youth Vote (‘Co-operation Youth Vote: Enabling future active European citizens’) aims to offer a space for training in the preparation of the 2024 European Parliament election campaigns.

The project is preparing a set of outputs that the partner organisations and a wider network can use for the upcoming European Parliament elections in 2024 ensuring young people will be encouraged to vote, but also to hold politicians accountable for their promises and decisions.

About the online trainings

From the beginning of September JEF Europe is launching a social media campaign aiming to urge young people to participate in the 2024 European elections and motivate their peers in their local environments to do the same. The campaign builds upon the previous outputs of the Youth Vote project which includes research on how and why young people participate in elections, as well as a Voting Toolbox – a set of examples and exercises aiming to draw attention to the importance of youth participation.

The goal of this online training is to engage JEF sections and their members in this social media campaign and provide them with the skills, knowledge, and tools required to best disseminate content on a local level.

The training will consist of 2×2 hours of online sessions, which will happen on the 26th and the 28th of September, both days between 5-7 pm CEST.
